Your mission with us

  • You will implement procedures and set quality standards to provide a smooth and consistent product experience for our customers.

  • You will work closely with the agile team to define a robust testing strategy and guidelines and ensure that these best practices are consistently followed during development.

  • You will play a critical role in guiding the agile team during the testing and validation process for new features and changes.

  • Foster collective ownership of the agile team in defining, implementing, improving and executing test cases for all levels of testing and ensure comprehensive test protocols are created.

  • In active coordination with the agile team, you will work to identify and fix bugs promptly and work together to resolve issues efficiently.

  • You will champion quality by instilling a quality management mindset across the organisation and promoting a culture of proactive quality assurance and individual accountability.

  • You will continuously monitor and evaluate the quality performance of the product, proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest improvements to achieve higher quality standards.

  • Define, plan and execute various test sets throughout the product lifecycle, including regression, functional and integration testing.

  • You will ensure a smooth release management process, identify potential incidents, such as promotional campaigns, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

  • You will work with the Agile team to define, implement, improve and execute automated tests to enable faster and more efficient testing.

  • You have specialised knowledge in non-functional testing areas such as accessibility (a11y), performance and GDPR compliance and work to share this expertise with the team.

  • You will take the lead in reviewing and approving the unit tests performed by the developers and ensure solid and meaningful test coverage

  • You will act as a mentor by guiding junior QA team members on testing strategy and encouraging their professional development.

 
 

How to convince us

  • Profound experience in the field of quality assurance with in-depth product knowledge as well as expertise in testing and a good understanding of the user perspective.

  • Basic programming skills and knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript.

  • You have strong self-organisation skills, attention to detail and a sense of urgency and resilience.

  • You are an effective communicator and have experience of working effectively with multiple stakeholders.

  • A high level of fluency in English.

  • Experience working with online shops and in the e-commerce sector.

  • Experience with Cypress.

  • Good German language skills would be a plus.

The minimum salary for this position is € 33,488.00 gross per year (full-time) at entry level, depending on qualifications/training - further overpayment is of course possible depending on professional experience and market orientation
